Rochester, Mich. – December 13, 2021 –MedNetOne Health Solutions (MedNetOne), a health care management organization offering infrastructure, technology, and clinical services to more than 900 private practice physicians and other independent care providers, is pleased to announce that co-founder and CEO Ewa Matuszewski has been appointed to The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit Advisory Board. Matuszewski will serve a three-year term.
Matuszewski will serve alongside Lt. Col. John E. Turner and a seasoned team of metro Detroit business leaders and Salvation Army officers who share in the vision to transform and restore lives of those served by the nonprofit. The Salvation Army seeks to help people in need without discrimination and is known for efforts including its annual Red Kettle Christmas Campaign, Bed & Bread Club Radiothon, disaster relief, and social services support through its corps community centers, among many other focus areas. Board members add a broad range of perspective and experience and provide counsel and connections to The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit.
Matuszewski is a champion of innovative primary care and chronic care initiatives. With a history of leading physicians and their practice teams through change, she promotes a vision of patient-centered healthcare and a culture of organizational excellence. Her areas of expertise include health policy analysis, physician workforce strategies, physician practice environment, primary care team leadership, primary care practice management/governance interface and quality improvement and validation within physician practices. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including being named a Crain’s Detroit Business Healthcare Hero and Notable Women in Healthcare. Active in community and public health initiatives, she is a member of the Board of Advocacy and Resource Development at the School of Health Sciences at Oakland University.
