Job Description
Seeking master level behavioral health professionals skilled in evidence-based consultation, assessments, and brief psychotherapy.
The position involves addressing mental health, substance abuse, social determinants of health and psychological/behavioral factors impacting general medical conditions within primary care practices. Experience in team-based care within medical settings is highly desired. Addressing complex mental health and substance abuse problems is required. In addition, candidates should have experience addressing common medical problems with behavioral health components such as chronic pain, cognitive impairment/dementia, insomnia, obesity, and tobacco cessation. Responsibilities also include assistance in quality improvement projects and population health initiatives.
This position is a full time combination of in-person and telehealth in a pediatric practice located in Macomb County. This available position requires extensive experience and expertise working with children, adolescents, and their families including ADHD and behavioral problems.

Knowledge/Skill/Abilities
Required Education
Masters or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
Required Experience
Three to five years of clinical experience utilizing evidence-based brief psychotherapy interventions, preferably in a team-based setting.
Preferred Experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification
Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW, Licensed Professional Counselor LPC, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT, Limited Licensed Psychologist LLP, or fully Licensed Psychologist LP in good standing. Must have highest level of licensure available for degree in Michigan to be considered for these positions.
