National Association of Private Geriatric Care Managers

National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities
Represents the nation’s 56 state and territorial agencies on aging and disabilities and supports visionary state leadership, the advancement of state systems innovation and the articulation of national policies that support home and community based services for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
National Care Planning Council
A comprehensive website with links to eldercare, senior services and care planning information.
National Caucus and Center on the Black Aged
This organization offers services to enhance the lives of low income elderly African Americans in the areas of employment, health and wellness, affordable housing, and more.
National Clearinghouse for Long-Term Care Information
This U.S. Department of Health & Human Services site provides information
and resources to help people address and plan for future long-term care needs.
National Council on the Aging
This organization works to improve health and economic security for
older adults. The site features helpful information and links to resources.
National Guardianship Association
Offers answers to important questions about guardianship as well as provides certification and education for guardians.
Social Security Administration
This agency pays benefits to retired or disabled workers and their eligible dependents, as well as eligible survivors of deceased workers. Supplemental Security Income payments are made to people who are blind or have other disabilities, and people age 65 and older who are in need. State and local offices can also be located from this site.

National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization
Promotes care for the terminally ill and provides information about hospice services in the United States. Hospices provide medical care for dying patients, as well as counseling and supportive services for the patient and family members.
